Our mission is to single out the inactive, abusive, or quitting members of HF, confiscate or receive their horses, and redistributed them to caring homes. Members who are quitting may donate their horses here if they do not want to sell the horses themselves, and be assured that they will be taken care of and eventually go to good homes. Any horse adopted from the Committee forever remains a "Committee Horse," meaning that the horse will always be given back to The Committee if the member decides to leave HF, is inactive, or guilty of abuse. If the adopter decides to sell the horse, it is THEIR responsibility to alert the new owner that the horse is a "Committee Horse." Not doing so will result in a fine.

Committee horses are never allowed to leave Horses Forever.

This means they cannot be sold, auctioned, or exported to a person outside of HF.

PLEASE REMEMBER!

Adoptions are limited to five horses every two weeks. That is ten horses a month.

New horses must be in The Committee for a week before allowing adoptions.

Committee horses are looking for permanent homes. We welcome adoptions from agencies, but please place the horse in a new home; you cannot breed or keep the horse unless you are making a personal adoption from The Committee itself or you adopt it as a personal horse from your agency.

The Committee also acts as a "Blacklist" committee. Members who find other members overshowing, abusive in any way, rude, or any complaint against them may fill out the form provided and the violator will be dealt with accordingly.
